Another example of my fascination of engineering, the Brooklyn Bridge it's one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States, weather beaten and embellished with the patina of age. It was completed in 1883, an incredible feat of engineering spanning the East River and connecting New York to Brooklyn, with the Manhattan Bridge in the distance it's main span is 1,595.5 feet!
