When in Ollantaytambo, the Sacred Valley, in Peru I stepped into a tiny, little house basically just one room, built by the Incas. Ollantaytambo dates back from the late 15th century and has some of the oldest continuously occupied dwellings in South America that are still standing! Among many things that adorn the walls was this entire wing, feathers of all kinds are used as decor for the walls and Guinea Pigs run around on the floor! Peru has been one of the most fascinating countries I have visited to date and now I have a deep appreciation of the Peruvian and Inca cultures, they were amazing architects and scientists.
