I was at Ikea in Brooklyn which is a great water taxi ride from Manhattan! By the time we were leaving it was dark and the cranes outside were lit in blue. I laid on the ground under the base to take this picture upwards. I have no idea where the pink colors came from but they're cool. This idea inspires me for a color technique, to have surprise pieces peaking from within the solid color around the face… food for thought, if you find a technique in MembersOnly called 'Crane' you'll know where it came from!
