Clients With Allergies

Play it safe and always carry out a patch test. Have your client come in 48 hours prior to their color service for a patch test to see if an allergy develops. If no reaction occurs, you are ready to color. If the client does have skin allergies, you may be able to offer highlights, lowlights or an Ombre effect so the formula will not come into contact with the skin.
