Have looks with and without veils and/or hair ornaments. I get images from Brides magazine and from the internet and check out my MembersOnly program we upload a new Up Style video each month.
Without question have rehearsal time with the bride and take pictures of how her look was achieved. The pictures will be a great reference on the actual day.
Only keep images of what you like to do… remember your brand and how you want others to view your work. A wedding is a great advertising opportunity, give the bridal party your business cards and ask for referrals.
Have your brides give you pictures of their hair taken by the official photographer they usually look better than what we can take in the salon on the day, and keep them in your book.
Have a good selection of ‘Red Carpet’ and pop idol looks… yes, even Lady Gaga! Teens are more in tune with and want what the celebrities are wearing.
This is the time when they want to be more adventurous with their color and Mom is happy to pay! Have hair pieces on offer and possibly wigs too.
You can get great pictures from magazines and the net, especially magazines like Italian Vogue, International Hairdressers Journal and other websites.
